Financial Accounting for Dummies PDF Book Review

I found this book to be really helpful. For my MBA I’m taking a Finance class and it’s like trying to learn a foreign language in 16 weeks. I decided to order this book for my Kindle in hopes that I could get a better understanding of some of the terminology of financial accounting, and that is exactly what this was good for. I skipped some of the middle chapters about journal entries because my class doesn’t cover that, but because of the table of contents it’s easy to skip around and just select the content that is relevant for you. I appreciate the layman’s terms and hopefully with this and a gracious tutor I can pass this class!!

The book was very well put together. I’m impressed. If you don’t have any background in Accounting and want a light read on the subject matter, I will suggest this very book is for you. The great thing also is that you aren’t as bogged down with Exercise questions as you read – which is what you’d find with an Accounting textbook. I got the book on kindle and it was very convenient.
