Fifty Shades Freed as Told by Christian PDF Summary
E L James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the globe.
Look for E L James’ passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.
Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.
Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?
This book is intended for mature audiences.
Grey Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian Book Review
I loved this. I may have even loved it more than the original books (I didn’t have to endure the inner goddess crap from Ana’s POV, thank the LORD). But it definitely wouldn’t have been the same if the books came out from his POV only. It is the perfect companion novel. Christian is so self-contained and introspective and even guarded.
He has many secrets in the first books and only gives Ana information in bits and pieces. It was kind of nice being in his head and knowing all the things he was thinking, all the times he stared at her and she wondered what he was thinking or not saying. We get a front-row seat. All the telephone conversations that were business-related, it’s not a huge deal, but it was kind of cool how E.L. James created work situations to fit into all those conversations he had.
I still hate Elena, even from Christian’s POV. I hated his memories of her, but I also had a morbid curiosity about his time with her. I wanted bad things to happen to her. She’s a predator. I don’t care about his thoughts on her about how he thinks she saved him. I wish she had to answer for what she did. That part always left me feeling unsatisfied. So she had fewer friends. Big deal. I don’t know if I’ve ever hated a character in a book more than Elena Lincoln.
Enough about her. This book was 852 pages long, and I was sad when I reached the end. I wanted more. I would have loved to read further into the future.
I think it’s funny that I loved this companion better than Midnight Sun, considering that’s where this all started. I think E.L. James did an excellent job with all three companion novels, and spacing them so far out really worked to keep my interest.
I absolutely loved it. I’m so sad I’ve come to the end.
I would recommend Grey Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian PDF Download to:
- Fans of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy
- People who don’t mind retelling of the same story from a different perspective.
If you are neither of the above, this probably won’t be the book for you. But if you ARE both of the above I recommend you give this a go and highly recommend picking up the audio!
